Of course we here at the Nommy like father's day, since Gecko and I both are fathers. We've known each other for the better part of a decade and through the acquisition of half a dozen children between us.
But today, for the first time ever... we're going to meet in person. You see, we've only known each other through this beautiful thing called the interwebs. We met way back when playing video games and have hung out pretty much ever since, and today, finally, we get to meet. He's arriving in town late tonight and will be hanging out at the Sumo household for the next week. Yes, I've stocked up on scotch. We'll be doing some cooking events during the time and some off-roading and some drinking events. We'll even have the rare pics of us both, hopefully those won't cost us too many readers. :) And to fathers, dads, pops and patrons around the country... Prost!
